On the occasion of #WorldHepatitisDay, the #Aarabkha_Organization_for_Sustainable_Development launched a public awareness campaign in Baghdad to raise community awareness about viral hepatitis and promote prevention and early detection as key measures to reduce the spread of the disease and protect public health.
As part of the campaign, the organization distributed educational brochures covering:
- An introduction to viral hepatitis.
- Key symptoms and warning signs.
- Modes of transmission and ways to prevent infection.
- The importance of early screening and its role in improving treatment outcomes and reducing complications.
This initiative reflects the organization’s commitment to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals by promoting good health and well-being, strengthening health literacy, and encouraging preventive practices that contribute to healthier and more resilient communities.
