Sovereign and judicial authorities in the Republic of the Philippines hosted international expert Dr. Mohammed Turki, advisor to the Arabkha Organization and Vice-Chair of the UN Committee on Enforced Disappearances, for an independent international legal lecture.
In his personal capacity, Dr. Turki addressed the impact of classifying enforced disappearance as a “continuous crime” on national legislation, exploring mechanisms for alignment with international UN standards. Arabkha Organization expresses its pride in the private international contributions of its advisors, which continue to enrich global human rights discourse.
