Arabkha Organization for Sustainable Development (AOSD) has launched a major initiative for the legal empowerment of inmates in reform centers, aimed at enhancing legal awareness in the fields of (Inmate Reform, General Amnesty, and Parole regulations). The initiative was implemented in Baghdad, at the Ministry of Justice – Iraqi Correctional Service (Al-Rusafa 2 Department), where the lecture was delivered by the legal expert, Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Abtadi. The program covers all reform departments across Iraq on a rotational basis to consolidate the rule of law and support social reintegration, in line with UN Sustainable Development Goal 16 and international human rights standards.
