The Arabkha Organization for Sustainable Development organized a workshop at the headquarters of the Iraqi High Commission for Human Rights titled “International Mechanisms for Protection from Enforced Disappearance.”

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Mohammed Turki Al‑Obaidi, with the attendance of the Commission’s Advisor Dr. Saad Al‑Abdali and the participation of staff members from the Commission and other entities.

The session addressed the Declaration on the Protection from Enforced Disappearance and the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance, as well as national mechanisms for its implementation and aligning national legislation with international obligations.
