Linguistic Diversity as a Foundation for Sustainable Development and Social Cohesion

On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, Aarabkha Organization for Sustainable Development affirms that Iraq represents a rich model of linguistic and cultural diversity, where Arabic, Kurdish, Turkmen, Syriac, and other languages coexist as an integral part of our shared national identity.

Protecting this diversity in Iraq and preserving its mother languages is a shared responsibility and a fundamental pillar for achieving sustainable development that strengthens social cohesion, supports education, and empowers future generations.

From this standpoint, our organization continues to support educational and cultural initiatives that promote respect for linguistic diversity and contribute to reinforcing a national identity based on pluralism and peaceful coexistence.
