Arabakha Organization Launches Its 2026 Annual Plan and Capacity-Building Program – Iraq

Arabakha Organization for Sustainable Development has announced the launch of its 2026 Annual Action Plan and Training Program, in accordance with its internal bylaws approved by the NGO Directorate at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. This step reflects the organization’s commitment to advancing sustainable development pathways and supporting the role of civil society organizations in Iraq.

The plan aims to contribute to the achievement of national Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to strengthen the capacities of civil society organizations in the areas of awareness-raising, oversight, advocacy, and humanitarian response. It also seeks to mobilize humanitarian assistance and ensure its distribution to eligible families and the most vulnerable groups through effective partnerships with donors and relevant institutions.

The plan includes the implementation of specialized workshops and training courses, participation in national conferences and events, and enhanced coordination with governmental and community stakeholders to ensure beneficiary selection based on clear and transparent criteria. The plan was developed based on the evaluation of 2025 outcomes and an assessment of the actual needs of partner entities, ensuring tangible and sustainable development impact throughout 2026.
