Sustainability as a Human Right: “Arabkha” Trains Ministry of Transport Staff on Clean Energy Techniques

Arabkha Organization for Sustainable Development, in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport (Department of Planning and Follow-up), implemented a knowledge-based program on the Seventh Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 7) to enhance awareness of energy efficiency within government institutions.

Key Training Pillars:

  • Localizing Sustainability: Mechanisms for meeting present needs and ensuring the rights of future generations by reducing consumption in the transport and communications sectors.
  • Energy Justice: Ensuring access to modern, reliable, and affordable energy for all as a fundamental pillar of development.
  • Sustainability and Human Rights:Analyzing the core link between clean energy and basic rights, such as the right to health, education, work, and living in a healthy environment.

The training, conducted by the organization’s consultant, Dr. Mohammed Turki Abbas, concluded with a call to strengthen international cooperation for the transfer of renewable energy technology and the activation of green investment to serve human dignity and protect the environment.
