Arabkha Organization for Sustainable Development participated in the workshop organized by Ofuq Organization for Sustainable Development, with the support of the European Union and the Italian organization UPP, on Thursday, 2 October 2025, at Al-Mansour Melia Hotel in Baghdad.

The workshop addressed prospects for developing the work of civil society organizations in Iraq and the challenges they face at the level of legislation and public policies.

The workshop was attended by several Members of Parliament, an Advisor to the Prime Minister, representatives of the relevant ministries, as well as a number of non-governmental organizations.

The organization was represented at the workshop by Dr. Mohammed Al-Obaidi, who took part in discussions on strengthening the role of civil society and promoting sustainable development.
