On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, we affirm that human rights are the fundamental pillar upon which sustainable peace and comprehensive development rely. Realizing these rights is not merely a moral duty, but an imperative obligation to ensure a safe, cohesive, and prosperous future for all. A society that neglects the protection of its individuals’ dignity and fundamental rights cannot progress or stabilize. Defending and promoting human rights represents a monument of justice and supreme human values, and must be a noble goal that all nations and peoples strive to achieve.
